More about me

I am Michelle Bigaut, M.S., OTR/L, founder and owner of ChildSync. I started ChildSync to help children experience success and to enable parents to inspire change in their children. I have spent the past 16 years providing pediatric occupational therapy services in a range of settings, working in collaboration with parents, teachers, school administrators, and paraprofessionals. I continue to advocate for children with special needs and inclusivity in their home, community and school environments.

To ensure that I am providing current and relevant therapeutic strategies and techniques, I attend continuing education courses, seminars and workshops on a yearly basis. I have taken numerous courses on sensory integration/sensory processing, reflex integration, pediatric neurology, anxiety in children, ADD/ADHD in children, visual challenges in children, and executive functioning skills. I attended the SOS Approach to Feeding Conference, Level 1. This was a live training conference for assessing and treating children with feeding difficulties, with a special focus on children from 6 months to 7 years old. In June 2024, I attended a live training conference for DIR 101: An Introduction to DIR and DIRFloortime.

I have experience treating children of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing challenges, ADHD, developmental delays, learning difficulties, anxiety, and more. I am dedicated to providing a family-centered approach. I value the importance of parent engagement and education to ensure the best therapeutic outcomes for both the child and family.

Hi! My name is Anjelica Collins. I am a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) with a strong foundation in pediatric care, specializing in both school-based and clinic-based settings. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Science in 2019 and my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2020 from Dominican University of California, where I developed a comprehensive understanding of pediatric development, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based practices.

With a focus on helping children achieve their full potential, I work collaboratively with families, educators, and healthcare teams to support children in overcoming challenges related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living activities. I believe in a child-centered approach, tailoring therapy to each child's unique needs, strengths, and goals.

As a licensed and registered occupational therapist, I am committed to creating a supportive, engaging, and empowering environment where children can thrive and develop the skills necessary for success at school, home, and in the community. My approach is rooted in building meaningful relationships, promoting independence, and fostering confidence in every child I work with.

Whether in a school or clinic setting, my goal is to make therapy both enjoyable and effective, helping children navigate the challenges of life with improved skills, resilience, and a sense of accomplishment.
